The design showcased is a poster created for the Graphic Design Club for the Student Art Show of Fall 2025. The imagery depicts a woman that is looking into a mirror that is shattered, showing a fractured point of view. Each shard of glass showing a different level of clarity. The typography used in the poster is to mimic the breaking of glass with the font being split and shifted appropriately filling the theme. “BREAK THROUGH” is to mean pushing through whatever you are going through and whatever reflection you see in the mirror to keep o pushing on. With this being targeted to student, it a fitting theme as student struggle with their own hardships whether it be outside or inside the classroom.
My name is Michael Gracia and I am a graphic design / studio arts student studying at Southwestern College expecting to graduate in the spring semester of 2026. With my design skills, I hope to create works of art for my clients which fulfills their expectations beyond measure.
